AH-SID I do not think it is a bug if you update a post it is not the same post so it shows the updated date

Graham Yeah, I knew it but I think it's better if xtblog gives users an option to update or use permanent date in their post.
I'm not comfortable if xtblog shows my post which has date newer than comment's date. So please evaluate this

it looks like you have been lax with the security of your site and some one has gained access either by having your login for the account or the autologin url
I have reset the autologin and you should change your account password
I will request a full recovery of the site from the last backup but that could take a day or two
