Graham Good day sir graham...is there any way i can create a blog at xtgem using autoindex scripts?...
Graham
bemethavinci if you mean with filelist then thats what the non xt blog uses
but if you mean with the automatic folder listing then yes again its just a collection of pages in a folder but you will have no paging or control over the style of the page and you will still have to create the pages yourself
bemethavinci
Graham yes with the filelist is better...but how do i create it
Graham
bemethavinci Thats what I already created on your site so you already have it
the index page in the Blog folder uses a file list with a template to display the list of files
the template variables and a converter are listed here
http://syntax.xtgem.com/manual/xtgem/default?func=xt_filelist
(reserved html characters in the template have to be converted to 'html entities')
A plain filelist with no template just creates a list of plain html links

Graham is there any way i can create a blog on xtgem without twig...and then customise the templates.
Graham
bemethavinci yes just use one of the built in css templates they are fine for a simple blog
anything else takes work there are no magic bullets
just pick something and stick with it
bemethavinci
Graham ok...you mean the default xtgem templates right?...or better still can i use a wordpress templates on xtgem?...
Graham
bemethavinci Wordpress themes would require just as much work as bootstrap / foundation / w3css
The classes used in a standard blog are not defined in a wordpress theme they are defined in the xtgem themes
