Graham hadisofian There are 3 options you either have to pass the variable to the new page in the query string of all your links
ie <a href="/page?name={_$name|}">link</a>
or as a "hidden" input in a form

<form action="/page"> <input type="hidden" name="name" value="{_$name|}" /> <input type="submit" value="GO" /> </form>

or use a cookie to hold the value and read it on the new page simple cookie example set the cookie

And the retrieve the cookie on your other page
