The PHP equivalent is
<?php // GET var is achieved through page URL $_GET["variable"]; // POST var is achieved through forms $_POST["variable"]; // REQUEST var can be used for both forms and URL $_REQUEST["variable"]; ?>
Remember to do isset() first, else the php will yield an error if the variable does not contain any value.
