* Povilas * TechnoSparks To answer your second question, user forums will be completely independent from forum.xtgem.com (login, inbox and profile settings pages will be handled by XtGem to prevent abuse, but other than that you'll be in complete control of your own forums)

* TechnoSparks * Povilas Thank you for both answering and responding on the slight typo :)
Well, I didn't realise that the forum was a long-requested feature though  but still, it is a great thing once it was published! :D

the most favourable feature i can see so far is that now, the new forum has a threaded messaging system. which a whole lot better if anyone wants to always stick to the previews messages or etc

* TechnoSparks I found a bug on this new forum.

The [ code ] bbtag is not working properly.

It basically strips all html tag's opening and closing and leaving the plain text printed.

For example, i nested
<h1>YES</h1> in the code tag, it will be
<h1>YES<h1>
Copy code

This also effects php scripts where it shows blank. Probably the script has been parsed into the server lol. Maybe it also effects javascript too. The code tag is important. A fix is needed :)

OOPS!!

every time I've tried to explain the bug, it gives another bug (or the same bug itself).

i believe the html opening tag is trimmed and not replaced for a safe entity which is & lt ;. Sorry, I have to space it out, because it also strips the entity!

explanation wrapped up, the forum literally read/remove any codes inside its [ code ] tag and also strips any opening and closing html tags, even when they are posted as entities. super moderators can edit this post and see what I meant.
