* Graham * bemethavinci most web programming languages have a lot of the same structures start with the simple parts and keep studying and when you make a mistake find out why and how to correct it
exactly the same as anything else in life

* bemethavinci * Graham good day sir graham...is there any way i can create a page for visitors to login and sign up to my site forum?

* Graham * bemethavinci The login and sign up is handled on xtgem itself it was done that way to protect the users private information

* bemethavinci * Graham i want you to clear me with coding on xtgem...lets say i want to create a full webpage using twig...when i want to start the site...will the files be different?...like the header, post body and footer...its complicated i dont even know how to state whats in my mind.

* Graham * bemethavinci Well in theory yes you can make a full page using just the twig files and I have tried it you still need at least <!DOCTYPE> and <html> on the page or it is not treated as a html document and just shows as text
you are limited to just the blog guestbook chat or forum functions as without them twig is not used and when you use the building tool to edit the functions or create/edit blog posts the page would get messed up by xtgems building tool parser as it re inserts <head> and <title> elements
so I would only recommend it for the advanced user and it is far more complex than just using the default files
if you mean just adding the _header and _footer into the twig then yes but then you have to add them in all the twig files (you can use a twig include) and to me it seems pointless as the default files do the same thing

* bemethavinci * Graham im not advanced in coding but i think i need to dive into it...or should i just learn only CSS and TWIG to create the webpage?

* Graham * bemethavinci basic HTML and CSS are all you really need the rest will come with time as and when you need it
you probably need to spend more time deciding on what the actual content of the site is than how all the code underneath works
you can leave most of that to others and just learn enough to know how to place the code in the framework of your site
