Graham bemethavinci Bootstrap by it's nature is a 'responsive' template
and even if you only have a mobile to visit and edit the site yourself you need to allow for visitors with larger devices and pc's that is where all the 'columns' and panels come into it the bootstrap templates I have already given you are designed to be responsive but you are probably only seeing the mobile version
